CERTIFICATE Of the admission of Daniel Norris, A.M., of Hart Hall, Oxford, to Deacon's orders, by Godfrey Goodman, Bishop of Gloucester dat. 5 June, 1642;-License from Henry Rich, Earl of Holland, Chancellor of the University of Cambridge, to Robert Thoroton, M.A., to practise the art of medicine, dat. 6 July, 1646;-Deed of acquittance from Henry [Moore], Earl of Drogheda, to John, Lord Robartes, Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, for the sum of £4000, paid as the marriage portion of his daughter, lately united to Charles, Lord Moore, son and heir of the said Earl of Drogheda, dat. 28 Jan. 1669;-Appointment by John [Lindsay] Earl of Crawford, of William Hay, M.A., as one of his domestic Chaplains, dat. 16 Feb. 1727.
