TWELVE DEEDS relating to the Worsley family, of Appuldurcombe, in Godshill, Isle of Wight; 1399-1756. Most of the deeds are grants of office, etc., to members of the Worsley family, details of which will be found in the Index to this Catalogue. Other deeds and materials relating to the Isle of Wight and to the Worsley family are Add. MSS. 46501-46504. Included in the present collection are:-(1) Grant to the Minoresses without Aldgate, London, of custody of the alien priory of Appuldurcombe, 25 Oct. 1399, with confirmation, 28 Oct. 1413. Cal. of Patent Rolls 1399-1401, p. 34; 1413-1416, p. 130. 74455, 74456;-(2) Release to the Minoresses without Aldgate of the profits of Appuldurcombe Priory, 11 July 1429, with confirmation, 2 Dec. 1443. Cal. of Patent Rolls 1422-1429, p. 504; 1441-1446, p. 235.
