Included are:-(1) Grant by William [de Reviers called] de Vernon, 5th Earl

of Devon, of two hundred acres in his manor of Wellow [in Shalfleet], Isle of

Wight, to Quarr Abbey, temp. John. Printed in Dugdale, Monasticon, v, pp.

317-318. Seal of grantor. 74887;-(2) Agreement by Sir John de Ripariis [i.e.

Rivers] to pay in perpetuity to the Abbot and Convent of Bec Hellouin a tithe

of corn, which he had withheld, from his demesne at Stoke Basset [i.e. North

Stoke, co. Oxon], 15 Sept. 1268. Seal of grantor. 74879;- (3) Records of

homage paid by the Percevals to the Luttrells of Dunster Castle, co. Som., for
