Most are grants, etc., to the church of St Michael in Absam, see R. von Klebelsberg, Haller Buch, Schlern-Schriften 106 (1953), pp. 124, 285-286. Endorsements in several hands are common to most of the charters, and they were probably once in the parochial archives at Absam (ibid., p. 286). Sotheby's sale-cat. 12 Dec. 1966, lot 181. Purchased from Maggs, 11 Feb. 1967.
