Epistles of Paul, including: Medical recipe for foot pain, Περὶ πόνεμαν ποδὸς παλαιὸν. Liturgical calendar with rubrics, verses and feasts' antiphons from September to August. Antiphons of the 8 tones and the entire week. Medical recipes for various diseases. Rubric on a feast's celebration, partly destroyed at the beginning. Note: Ἄρξουχήρ μοῦ αγαθέ γραφεν γράμματα καλὰ ην (μην?) δαροις; another hand copied the same note slightly differently after καλά, μὴν τά πῇς καὶ λυπηθῇς, Note: Ἀπὸ ὕψους ἀοράτως πολεμοῦντος ἡμᾶς, σύντριψον τὸν βραχίονα τοῦ πονηροῦ τῷ σταυρῷ σου δυνατέ, καὶ σῶσον ἡμᾶς ἀπὸ ὕψους ἀοράτως.

Ruling: 122 x 81 mm; written in 1 column, 22 lines per column.
Scribal features: Decorated headpieces and initials (ff 1, 30v, 58, 77, 87v, 98, 105, 112v, 119v, 124, 132v, 138v, 142, 145). The summaries are written in uncial and the chapter-titles in red ink.
Binding: Full calf leather binding, 17th century.

Custodial History:

Belonged to the monastery of Constamonitou on Mount Athos (ff 162-165): + Ἡ παροῦσα βίβλος ὑπάρχει ἐκ τῆς μονῆς τοῦ Κώνσταντος καὶ εἴ τις ἀποξενώσει αὐτὴν ἐχέτω τὰς ἀρὰς τῶν τιη' (πατέρων) καὶ τοῦ ἁγίου Στεφάνου. Νεόφυτος ἱερομόναχος (monocondyle? signature). Belonged to the physician and collector Richard Mead (1673-1754; in his collection by 1746), and to the physician, classical scholar and collector, Anthony Askew (1722-1774).
