  • Foliation: ff (ii) + 37 + (iii).
  • Dimensions: 225 x 165 mm.
  • Binding: Binding of half red leather with marbled paper covers.
  • Scribes: Written by two Greek hands: (1) ff 1-23v, Ignatios Metaxopoulos, perhaps from Crete: see C. Sathas, Νεοελληνικὴ Φιλολογία (Athens, 1868), 437; ἕως ὧδε γἐγραφα, μὴ εὑρὼν γράψαι ἄλλος ἐκτὸς τῶν γεγραμμένων οὐ ποτὲ αὐτῆς γραμμου τῶν πλέον; (2) ff 24-37v, an unknown scribe.
Custodial History:
Armorial bookplate of Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guilford. '24', 'No. 60', and 'u.a.L/10/B' in pencil at top of upper pastedown.

Purchased, together with Add MSS 8224, 8230, from R. H. Evans, 8 December 1830, lot 24 (part).
