- Scribal features: Rubric section divisions in the Achilleis. Rubric explicits on ff 77v, 164v. Headpiece and rubric title, f 165. Although the texts of the verse romances are written like prose, the beginning of each verse is marked by a rubric initial. In the case of the love poems only the beginning of each poem has a rubric initial and the verses are undifferentiated.
- Binding: Half calf leather binding with brown cloth and leather corners.
- Scribes: Two Greek scribes: (1) ff 1-6v; (2) ff 7-202v.
- Custodial History:
- Armorial bookplate (front pastedown) of the Hon. Frederic North, later 5th Earl of Guilford, inscribed in ink 'No 413' (listed as such in the catalogue of Guilford's Greek books, Add MS 16572, f 45). Shelfmark u.a.L/10/A' (first flyleaf). '540' (crossed-out) and '550' in pencil at top of front pastedown.
