JOHN HARVEY, nephew of Dr. William Harvey: Retrospective immunity for the executors of Edward Wastfield, citizen and grocer of London, from any legal action resulting from the proxy addition, during his absence with Charles I at Oxford, of his signature and seal by his father Daniel Harvey (d. 1647) to a bankruptcy agreement subscribed by Wastfield’s creditors to accept ten shillings in the pound in respect of a bond for £3000 into which Harvey and they had entered two years earlier; 8 February 1667/8. Purchased from J. L. M. and H. G. Gulley, September 2002.
