Latin. See also Brit. Mus. Quart., vii, 1932-1933, pp. 18-20, and cf. H. S. Lucas, 'Diplomatic Relations between England and Flanders from 1329 to 1336', Speculum, xi, 1936, pp. 59-87. The draft, which leaves unstated the truce's duration, is written in an English hand, with some erasures and alterations. It is endorsed with a note of contents in French by an 18th-cent. hand that is also found on Add. Ch. 59140-59144, from the same archive. Thomas Thorpe's catalogue, 1836, supplement no. 199. Belonged to Sir Thomas Phillipps, Bart. (MS. 9967, no. 199). Sotheby's sale-cat., 6-11 June 1898, lot 327.
