Following his marriage in 1864, James Henry Tomlinson Blunt was appointed Senior Government Chaplain in Bombay, stationed at Poona and Karachi. The volume contains literary and religious writings, newspaper cuttings, invitations from the Governor Duke and Duchess of Connaught and Stratearn. Pages 78-86 include a collection of insignias of regiments of Indian Army and British Army, various government offices, and other institutions of organisations. Pages 126-127 include photographs of his journey on S.S.Cathay from Bombay to Plymouth December 1886-January 1887.
