1) A RONEO indexed diary with entries from 1 Jan to 31 May 1944 and 7 Sep 1947 by Lt-Col G T Chaloner. The diary describes the reconnaissance expeditions in Indian jungles in 1944 and pre-Independence situation in India when he was involved in riot control in Delhi in 1947.
2) A booklet , Some Jungle Trees and Their Uses, by Lt-Col Chaloner, published by H.Q. Southern Army, July 1944. The publication, printed for distribution in Indian Army as part of jungle survival training, provides botanical information on trees common to India, Burma, Malaya, Sumatra, Java and Polynesia. With b/w and coloured illustrations by Lt-Col Chaloner.
