- "Bought of Lady Gatacre, 8 June 1907". Lady Beatrix Gatacre, second wife of Sir William Forbes Gatacre (1843-1906), British army officer; commandeer of the Mandalay brigade during the Tonhon expedition in Burma in 1889–90 and one of the commanders involved in the relief of the siege of Chitral garrison in India in 1895, was made KCB after the capture of Omdurman in Sudan in 1898, sent to South Africa in 1899 as commander of the 3rd division of the army corps in the Boer War.
