ff.1v-2r: opening remarks, addressed to an audience of men and women, Malays, Makassarese and peranakan (locally-born of mixed blood).
ff.2v-45r: Hikayat Raja Handik (h.n.d.y.q); colophon on f.45r: copied by Encik Usman, son of the Malay scribe in Makassar, in the house of Encik Johar, in the Kampung Melayu of Semarang, at the request of Encik Usep of Kampung Belikang in Makassar, from an original manuscript owned by Abdullah, Kapitan Melayu of Semarang, 8 Syaban 1211 (6 February 1797). This work is more commonly called Hikayat Raja Handak.
ff.45v-83v: Hikayat Raja Pasai (incomplete). Lacking final 20% of the text, by comparison with RAS Raffles Malay 67.

- 83 ff.; Dutch paper, 'C & I Honig', many folios soiled and waterstained; 195 x 170 mm. Small fine hand; brown ink, with small red reading marks; catchwords. Soiled and damaged initial page (new repairs), with scribbles in Malay and Bugis. F.9 sewn in at end of first quire [A8]. Modern paper covers and repairs by BL.
