ff.2v-5v: Blessings and al-Fatihah upon the Prophet, the four rightly-guided caliphs, Syaikh Abdul Hadi al-Sudi, Syaikh Muhyiuddin Abdul Qadir Jailani, Syaikh Muhyiuddin ibn ‘Izani[?], Raja Iskandar Muda, Sultan Ahmad Syah, Sultan Iskandar Thani, and Syaikh Abdul Qadim.
ff.6v-52r: Kitab maulud, praises and blessings on the Prophet, in Arabic with interlinear translation into Malay (f.52r: tammat al-maulud al-‘azim).
ff.52v-56r: Prayers, citing again Syaikh Abdul Hadi al-Sudi, Syaikh Muhyiuddin Abdul Qadir Jailani, Syaikh Abdullah al-Qadim, Abdullah al-‘Aidrus, and the four rightly-guided caliphs.

Dimensions: 190 x 140 mm. 71 ff; European paper, of two types: ff.1-12, thin cream paper with several watermarks partly visible (eg. floral shield on f.11, name on f.9 along spine, portions of several letters on f.8 along spine); ff.13-71, thicker cream paper, chainlines, wm ‘R’ (eg. f.54). Black ink with rubrication, 6-11 lines per page.
Illumination: 2 double frames: ff.2v-3r, rectangular frames with knotted pattern in red, blue, yellow and reserved white; ff.6v-7r, rectangular frames with foliate scroll in red, green, yellow and reserved white; marginal ornaments of medallions outlined in red ink with an outer band of yellow, enclosing the word s.n.
Sewn together in quires but without binding.
