Sir Francis Cannon Tudsbery CBE (1888-1968), lecturer of merchant law and common law. Resident at Champfleurie House, Linlithgow, Scotland from 1921 with his wife Isabella and son Robin. Their son Robin Tudsbery, lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards, was killed in Germany at the end of the World War II.
The diary recorded the family trip by boat and land around India from January to April 1939, including a mela, and time spent at the Viceroy's house
