The collection consists of digital copies of Wolofal (Wolof Ajami) manuscripts copied as part of the EAP 334 project. The material is part of the personal archives of Serigne Abdou Kane. The bulk of the material was written between the 1970's and 2000, and consists of Serigne Abdou Kane's collections of the teachings and writings of Serigne Mbaye Diakhate, his teacher and friend.
Physical characteristics of original material: Images in this collection were captured using digital photography. Due to the age and the poor conservation of the materials, some pages are destroyed and others are missing.
