The collection consists of digital copies of two documents of Wolofal (Wolof Ajami) manuscripts copied as part of the EAP 334 project. The first document entitled "Lawtanug Barke" (The Flourishing of Baraka) traces the genealogy of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba's family back to Maharam Mbacke who lived in the 18th century. The second document entitled "Manaafi'ul Muslim" uses Islamic esoteric sciences for medical purposes.
Physical characteristics of original material: Images in this collection were captured using digital photography. All pages are readable.
