Most of the manuscripts in the collection are andemta manuscripts. As the instructor is versed in the New Testament, the majority of the commentary manuscripts cover book of the New Testament. The collection is a private one with a visible attachment with the Monastery (Mertu Lemaryam) where the scholar tought his entire life. The monastic community administer the collection.
Arrangement and condition of original material: The manuscripts are placed in a big wooden box. Some of the manuscripts are titled in their first folio. Most of the manuscripts archived in the collection are in good condition.
