- Letter from the Navy Office to the Officers of the Ordnance, 19 Oct 1676, regarding four brass guns left in the charge of the British Consul at Genoa. Signed by William, 2nd Viscount Brouncker, Sir Thomas Allin, Sir Richard Haddock, Sir Anthony Deane, Thomas Hayter, and John Pepys.
- ‘An Account of several Phenomena in Nature Relating to Hydrostatical, Pneumatical, and Optical Principles Together with the Doctrine of the Tides and Astronomy’, 1736. Notebook containing a transcription (possibly by George Stockwell, whose name appears in the inside cover) of one of the lectures given, presumably at Cambridge, by Nicholas Saunderson. Stockwell may be the son of John Stockwell of Bond Street, London referred to as a student of Christ Church, Oxford, in Alumni Oxonienses. Also contains a photocopy of the notebook and a note instructing that the photocopy be issued to any reader who wished to study the lectures.

- Letter from Benjamin Thompson, Count Rumford, at Munich, to Thomas Cadell, junior and William Davies, booksellers, 10 May 1797, sending his Seventh Essay (not present) and promising his essay on the construction of kitchen fire places in a few weeks.
