A picture scroll, with descriptive text, depicting life in the Yoshiwara pleasure quarters of Edo. Copy by Iwamoto Kattōshi 岩本活東子 (real name Iwamoto Sashichi 岩本左七) of the no longer extant original by the celebrated ukiyo-e artist Kitao Masayoshi (Keisai) 北尾政美 (蕙斎) (1764-1824) with text by Santō Kyōden 山東京伝 (1761-1816).
