Uraga Eisen chaku mitori-zu 浦賀英船着見取図
- Scope & Content:
- Sketches of the Britsh vessel ‘The Brothers’ which entered Uraga Bay, Japan on 17 June 1818 [Bunsei 1] under Captain Peter Gordon. The manuscript is based on observations made by the Japanese official party which boarded the vessel and depicts members of the crew, their weapons, furniture and personal possessions.
