- Description: 2 typed Malay pantuns were digitised for the pilot project. This is part of a larger collection of other documents include letters, magazines and articles concerning Malays in Sri Lanka. There are also articles supplied for ‘Terang’ magazine, as former owner, Nizam Samath, was editor of it. Also there is a file containing documents regarding the Bogambara Malay Military mosque which includes the plan, constitution, details of trustees etc. Extent and format of original material: Several poems, articles about the Malays, file of documents related to Malay mosque in Kandy. Physical characteristics of original material: Papers arranged in a cardboard file. Some faded but most in very readable condition.

- The digital images in this collection were created as part of the EAP450 Manuscripts of the Sri Lankan Malays project. The original material is owned by Seenar Samath. All documents belonged to her late husband. They were collected at different times. The documents have been sorted and filed to be handed over to the Kandy Malay Association.
