Hikayat Pandawa Jaya, in Malay in Jawi script. A shortened prose version of the Javanese Bratayuda. Colophon on f.90r states that the MS was copied on 10 Rabiulawal 1220 AH (8 June 1805 AD) in the reign of Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin in Kota Setar Dar al-Aman, i.e. in Kedah.
The intial and end pages contain various notes of ownership and records of debt:
f.1r: cit (receipt) issued by Muhammad Salih; record of a transaction for receiving 10 rial of padi, 12 Safar 1220 (12 May 1805).
f.1v: Sūrat al-Fātiḥah (Q.1).
f.2r: Anecdote about the prophet, and exhortation to readers of the text not to curse the writer's efforts (jangan usahanya diupat).
ff.2v-90r: Hikayat Pandawa Jaya. Ends on f.90r with an unfinished syair which begins: Inilah hikayat Pandawa Jaya / siapa membaca jangan percaya / bohongnya banyak tiada berdaya / dunia kayangan sangatlah mulia (this is the story of Pandawa Jaya / whoever reads it, don't believe a word of it / it's full of hopeless lies / of glorious imaginary worlds).
f.90v: prayer in Arabic.
f.91r: Statement dated 17 Rabiulawal 1220 (15 June 1805): maka ada fakir ala orang berperang dan hendak berniaga atau barang suatu pekerjaan itu hendaklah dituntuti.
f.91v: first few lines of Hikayat Syahi Mardan.
