Hikayat Indera Putera, in Malay in Jawi script. Ends abruptly. Mulyadi (1983: 10) estimates the date of writing to be ca. 1821.
Initial pages are set in decorated frames, with a palette of red, green, black and reserved white. Originally the decorated frames would have been on facing pages, but after conservation the manuscript has been wrongly rebound, and the illuminated pages no longer face each other. The style of decoration suggests a west Sumatran provenance.
