Hikayat Perang Pandawa Jaya, in Malay in Jawi script. Colophon on f.117r gives the date of copying as 22 Syaaban 1219 (26 November 1804), in the year ba, on Monday, and the name of the scribe as Muhammad Kasim.
Double decorated frames in red, pink, black ink and reserved white are found on ff.1v-2r enclosing the opening lines of text; simple black ink tapered outlines enclose the colophon on f.117r.
Copied by the same scribe as MSS Malay B 6, Hikayat Muhammad Hanafiah, dated 1805.

Dimensions: 205 x 145 mm.
119 ff; Chinese paper, with evident brushstrokes. 13 lines per page, black ink, with some rubrication.
Binding: Original binding with an outer cover of Indian(?) cotton printed with a pattern of carnations, stitched around an inner binding of plaited palm.
NB The binding is now detached from the manuscript and is stored separately as MSS Malay B.12*, and for reasons of fragility is not made available to readers.
