- 16th Century manuscripts available for scanning, Occupation of the family was performing poojas in the temples. They also undertake consecration of deities, purificatory Rituals in the temples, Magic and associated Rituals etc. They are agriculturists having gardens of different plantations. They are descendants of the Royal family, the present custodian Rajaraja Varma has acquired the Palm leaf manuscripts from his ancestors. It is believed that these manuscripts had brought from Kozhikode when Kozhikode royal family was under a threat of Tipu Sultan’s conquer during 1770. - EAP584 was funded by the Endangered Archives Programme. It created digital copies of records held by the Folkand: International Centre for Folklore and Culture in Kerala. It also digitised collections from several local families and the manuscript library at Vidyalaya.
