- 16th and 17th Century Manuscripts available, Vellavalli illam in Kannur is an old Brahmin family. Mr. Unni Namboothiri, during 1600s travelled to Thrissur koodalmanikya temple and requested for wealth for sustaining the family. The pleased deity shown him a heap of manuscripts and asked him to take home. He then took the bundles of manuscripts and brought to his home. He acquired thorough knowledge from reading these manuscripts and became the masters of literature.

- EAP584 was funded by the Endangered Archives Programme. It created digital copies of records held by the Folkand: International Centre for Folklore and Culture in Kerala. It also digitised collections from several local families and the manuscript library at Vidyalaya.
