f.1r: notes
ff.2r-3v: loose fragment of a text in Arabic; incomplete.
ff.4r-52v: [Ilmu nahwu], anonymous text on grammar (incomplete; lacking beginning and end), with marginal annotations; f.27v copied upside-down. In Arabic.
ff.53r-64r: Kitab al-Tilimsani (lacking beginning, complete at end); colophon on f.64r: tamma al-kitab al-musama Tilimsani, 7 Syawal at the time of the zuhur prayer, and a possible date xx31, i.e. 1231? = 1815/16 AD. This text discusses a.o. the qualities of God, and quantifies the number of prophets and messengers sent to earth, and the number of books endowed by God. In Arabic.
ff.65r-80r: al-Risalah al-Syattariyah, by Bahauddin Ibrahim ibn A‘ta’ al-Ansari al-Qadri, in Arabic. Sufi text in four parts (fasal): firstly, on tatacara suluk; secondly on the conditions to be observed for zikir (recitation of the name of God); thirdly, on a number of sentences to be read in order to get closer to God; and fourthly, exploring various zikir formula in Arabic, Persian and Indian languages which are recited in order to confirm God’s oneness.
f.81v: notes.
f.82r-f.1v: Bifolium comprising a letter in Malay, from Idris to Teungku di Dawi2 (d.d.w.y.2), with four letter headings written diagonally: xxx / xxx / bi-barakati Syaikh / Ma‘ruf al-Karkhi (the last two in disconnected letters); in an addendum in the right margin he lists the gifts of q.m and kopiah he is sending. Damaged: torn and stained; used as outer wrapper for the whole volume.
f.82v: notes, with dates 1278 (1861/62 AD) and 1287 (1870/71 AD) mentioning al-Haji Ismail bin al-mukaram al-Haji,; also inilah lafz khutbah talqin sama ada laki-laki atau perempuan with following text in Arabic.

82 ff; 21 x 16.5 cm; variety of European laid papers: watermarks include a shield with diagonal banner, with 2 small crescent moons or 'c' below, facing in opposite directions; black ink with red rubrics; different hands. The quires are partially stitched together, with one bifolium used as a wrapper for the whole volume. No binding, but the volume was originally stored within a white cotton hand-sewn envelope.
