Kitab maju’ al-masa’il, in Malay in Jawi script, with notes in Arabic, a MS from Aceh.
ff.1v-2r: Doa kamilin, prayers and zikir, Ini adalah doa Kamilin yang sangat terkenal dan biasanya dibaca di antara shalat tarawih dan shalat witir pada bulan Ramadhan. In Arabic.
ff.2v-13v: Kitab majmu‘ al-masa’il, ertinya perhimpunan segala masa’ilah pada menyatakan perkataan shahadat dan bersuci, Malay text in question-and-answer form on the shahadat and ritual purity, prayer, marriage and divorce; lacking beginning. Written in a poor and uncertain hand. Colophon on f.13v, dated 9 Zulkaidah 1234 (30 August 1819 AD): tamat al-kitab masa’il majmu‘ pada sembilan hari bulan Zukaidah pada tahun dal awal min hijrah al-nabi s.a.w. seribu dua ratus tiga puluh empat tahun2 dal pada zaman duli hadrat maulana paduka seri sultan al-‘azim wa al-haqan mukaram. In Malay. Fully vowelled, in contrast to most other similar texts.
f.13v: note on hajj (written diagonally).
ff.14r-28r Kitab al-nikah, anonymous work on fiqh, discussing the laws of marriage, divorce and rujuk. Lacking beginning. In Arabic, and unusually, fully vocalised.
f.15a: notes on transactions in cloth.
ff.28r-31v: : [Ringkasan Tauhid]. In Malay. As explained by the writer, this text is a Malay translation (adalah aku menterjemahkan kitab ini dengan bahsas Jawi supaya mudah bagi segala orang yang mubtadi) of the Kitab Mukhtasar by al-Wali Ruslan al-Dimashqi, supplemented from the Sharh Fath al-Rahman by Zakariya al-Ansari and a commentary on the Sharh Fath al-Rahman by ‘Abd al-Ghani ibn Isma'il. The contents deal with a.o. the meaning of tauhid, syirik, wujud, and iman.
ff.31v-34v: Risalah Tauhid. In Javanese. Short text on faith, in Javanese (it is rather unusual to find a text in Javanese included in a manuscript from Aceh).
