Photograph album belonging to Colonel John G. Day, measuring 300 x 415 mm, in very poor condition, containing mounted prints with letterpress captions. The album binding has been removed and the pages are loosely bound down the spine. The album records scenes during the 2nd Afghan War taken by the 7th Company of Bengal Sappers and Miners. Several prints are published in the official account of the war in OIOC V3138.
