Scope & Content:: Green cloth-covered album, measuring 275 x 334 mm, rebound in 1915, stamped in gilt on upper board, 'Tombs at Tatta. Photographs. By Capt. Houghton.' The original flyleaf has the following handwritten inscription: 'Photographs of Tombs at Tatta in Sind by Capt. Houghton, 14th Regt. N.I. Forwarded to the India House in a letter from the Secretary to the Govt. of Bombay 19th Octr. 1858, No. 2569. Recd. from Public Department, April 1859'. The album contains 11 salted paper prints, with one view of Karachi, followed by ten views of the tombs at Tatta.
