Red buckram photograph album measuring 310x392mm, stamped with title as above in gold on front cover, with prints mounted on pages between tissue interleaving. The prints are uncaptioned but there is a brief index at the end of the volume listing the various functions attended by Lord Mountbatten on his visit to India between 3 and 6 May 1965. These include: arrival at New Delhi (3 May); Laying wreaths at Rajghat and Shantivana, Delhi (4 May); visit to National Defence College, New Delhi (4 May); Discussions with officials of External Affairs Ministry, calls on President, Prime Minister and Vice-President, State Banquet given by Prime Minister (5 May); visit to Nehru Memorial Museum, New Delhi and departure (6 May).
