Loose snapshots and four larger prints. The snapshots record the people and places visited during the Indian Police career (1909-26) of Royden Wilkinson, including views of European and domestic life and architecture in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Burma, Gwalior, Delhi, Fatehpur Sikri and Jhansi. Many of the prints take the form of ethnographic studies, particularly of islanders. A series of prints depicts the transportation of elephants by boat. The four larger photographs include a view of Naini Tal, Indian Police hockey team, Officers Police Mess 1909-10 and a large Indian Police group. The collection includes a xerox of Wilkinson's service record.
