'The True Form of Hashidate'. Also known as 'Bontenkoku 梵天国'. An illustrated otogizōshi story of unknown authorship composed during the Muromachi Period (1333-1573), it recounts the origins of the Nariaiji 成相寺 Temple at Amanohashidate. Title on title slip: 橋たてのほん地 一. Volume 1 of 2 only.
The manuscript is undated but probably from the beginning of the Edo Period (c.1600-1640)
