Album of photographs of the Cawnpore Memorial Well.

Green padded cloth-covered album with mock-crocodile design, measuring 280x370mm, with cord ties. Album covers somewhat scuffed and marked, but binding generally firm. Prints are mounted one to a page with typescript captions pasted beneath. The album contains a detailed documentation of the memorial (both general views and details of carving) and views of some of the tombs in the adjoining cemetery. Prints 38-47 are views of the memorial taken after it had been re-erected in modified form in the grounds of All Souls Memorial Church, Kanpur.
