Black half-leather bound album with sides in green cloth, measuring 253x305mm, in poor condition (spine missing and front board detached). The album contains mainly snapshot views of Madras and Sri Lanka (presumably taken by Reinhold himself) with a few postcards and one or two more professional looking views. The contents of the album can be broadly broken down as follows:

Prints 1-18 Views of Madras, including snapshots of the Government Opthalmic Hospital, 1913.

Prints 19-21 English snapshots.

Prints 22-52 Views in Sri Lanka, mainly Colombo and Newara Eliya, 1913. Some postcards.

Prints 53-62 Unidentified snapshots, several showing a prison.

Prints 63-66 Views of Madras. This page probably came from the beginning of the album and has been placed (and numbered) here in error.

Prints 67-73 Unidentified prints, same series as prints 53-62, includes a snapshot portrait of Reinhold.

Carl Henry Reinhold (b.1882) joined the Indian Medical Service in 1905, rising to rank of Inspector-General of Civil Hospitals in the Punjab from 1933-36. A typescript record of service is atached to the front endpaper of the album.
