Collection of 8 cartes-de-visite and 2 cabinet portraits of Bihar indigo planters, with modern identifications written on the reverse. A note with the prints refers to further biographical information in Mindon Wilson's History of Behar indigo factories (Calcutta, 1908, IOL pressmark, T3914). The prints were extracted from the photograph album of Mrs M.N. (or M.N.?) Macdonald of Bihar.
