Loose unmounted prints. The majority are amateur snapshot views of people, buildings, street scenes, landscapes and military activities in India, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and throughout the Middle East, but there is also a good collection of views at the Army Fighting Vehicles School at Ahmednagar.
Prints 1-8 Views of military vehicles, including tanks and trucks. Print 1 is captioned: 'S.A.& M. School, Ahmednagar ..[?].., Sept 1938'. Prints 9-13 Views of trucks at an R.A.S.C. supply depot in the Middle East. Prints 14-29 Views, probably by a professional photographer, at the Army Fighting Vehicles School at Ahmednagar, showing students being trained in mechanics, both hands-on and in a lecture room, and leisure activities such as football, volleyball, hockey and board games. Print 30 Group portrait: '1st War Course at the Indian Wing F.V.S., 200 students, Ahmednagar, 1940'. Print 31 Group portrait of British and Indian officers, by Bali in 1937.
