Cloth-covered photograph album, stamped 'Album' on front cover, measuring 310x253mm, containing loosely mounted prints, with captions handwritten on paper labels. Prints 133-172 are inserted loose at the end of the album. The majority of the prints are of indifferent amateur quality, and many are also in poor condition. Gibson-Carmichael was Governor of Victoria 1908-11, Governor of Madras 1911 and Governor of Bengal from 1912-17. Most of the prints were taken during these appointments, with additional views of Malta, Naples, Port Said, etc.
