Loose 67 prints, 6 glass colour transparencies and four ciné films relating to Sir Frederick Hugh Sykes' period as Governor of Bombay 1928-33.
The loose prints comprise the following:
1. Official groups, including a visit by Sir Frederick Sykes to Sangli (12 prints).
2. Official groups, including the laying of the foundation stone of the bridge across the River Nira at Bhor, 1931 and a visit to Belgaum in 1933 (18 prints).
3. Group portraits, largely uncaptioned, but including a large group of the staff of the Governor of Bombay (11 prints).
4. Hunting scenes (at (?)Kolhapur) (10 prints).
5. Views of Ganeshkind, Government House, Poona (Pune) (4 prints).
6. Portraits of Indian dignitaries, including the Chief Sahib of Sangli, the Rani Sahib of Sangli, Khan Sawant Bhonsle, M. I. Kadri and D. E. Wade (or Wache?) (5 prints).
7. A view of Bombay Harbour and one of mountains in the Western Ghats (2 prints).
8. Panoramic photographs of an official visit to Bardoli, Gujarat (5 prints).
