Scope & Content:

Collection of 11 loose prints, extracted from a volume of miscellaneous prints and other material held in the Chinese Section and transferred to APAC photograph collections in May 2006. The material consists of 7 loose gelatin silver prints of the Temple of Heaven, Beijing, dated April 1909 and possibly taken by Charles Henry Brewitt Taylor (1857-1938), and 4 printing-out paper prints of groups in Shanghai, by a Chinese photographer, dated 1912-13.
