Oblong quarto photograph album measuring 252 x 318 mm, bound in full contemporary green morocco, stamped in gilt on front cover, Views of Ascension, edges gilt, with gilt inner dentelles. The album contains 25 albumen print views of buildings and scenery on Ascension Island, mounted one to a page (recto only), with contemporary handwritten captions beneath each image.
