Soft-covered photograph album measuring 264 x 373 mm, with title on front cover and containing 21 prints with letterpress captions, recording the presentation of new regimental colours to the 1st Battalion, 4th Bombay Grenadiers, at Peshawar. A pamphlet containing the order of parade and a short history of the regiment is laid down inside the cover, and the album also contains 2 pages of letterpress text (the address of Sir Ralph Griffith, Governor of the North West Frontier Province, and extracts of letters to the Commandant).
