Scope & Content:: Black slipcased post-bound volume (modern binding), measuring 325 x 408 mm, containing 70 prints encapsulated in melinex sleeves. The collection of 207 prints received from Malta by the British Museum through colonial copyright legislation between 1903 and 1913, is now bound in four volumes, lettered M.1-M.4. The numerical sequence of the individual prints, however, runs in two sequences only, M.1, 1-70 (contained in the present volume) and M.2, the latter series divided into three volumes, lettered M.2-M.4. Volume M.2 contains prints 1-54, volume M.3, prints 55-106 and volume M.4, prints 107-139 (plus additional material from Malaya).
