Scope & Content:: Red half-leather and buckram portfolio containing 18 topographical prints, mounted on card. This miscellaneous series comprises a view of Florence (photographic copy of a painting) by J. Albert, two views of Kärnten (Carinthia)by B. Johannes, one view of Hamburg by Strumper and Co., a photographic copy by Teich-Hanfstaengl of a painting of an aerial view of Zwickau and a series of 13 architectural views of Hildesheim, taken around 1869 by G. Koppmann. This last is of particular interest in showing a number of buildings destroyed in air raids in the Second World War.
