Folio, quarter-leather binding and green cloth boards, with royal coat of arms stamped in gilt on upper and lower boards, 382 x 325 mm, marbled edges and endpapers; 69, [2] pp., with 34 salted paper prints (plates 1-33, 38) and 22 albumen prints (plates 34-37, 39-56) of armour and weapons, mounted on light card, one to a page (recto only) within gilt rules, each image preceded preceded by a leaf with plate number and caption in letterpress. The text supplies detailed biographical notes on the original owners of the armour depicted. This second volume of the part-work contains issues 10-16, each 'Lieferung' containing 8 prints. As for volume one, a single example of decorative blue front wrapper is bound in at the front of the book, with the back wrappers for parts 10-16 (listing contents of each instalment) bound in at the back. For parts 1-9 of the series, dealing with German armour in the collection, see volume 1.
