Folio, quarter leather with red cloth boards, royal coat of arms stamped in gilt on upper and lower boards (British Museum binding), measuring 525 x 383 mm, marbled endpapers; pp. 16 of text, followed by 21 albumen prints, mounted on 12 card leaves, with lithographed titles beneath each image, together with photographer credit reading 'Mieusement Phot. à Blois' and publisher credit reading 'A. Dupuis — Editeur, 12, rue des Beaux-Arts, Paris.' The photographs consist of 9 large-format views of the chateau and 12 smaller architectural details, the latter mounted four to a page.
