Folio, measuring 395 x 320 mm, full blue leather binding, with decorative work in gilt on upper and lower boards; marbled endpapers; edges gilt; the lavish binding is protected by a loose red leather cover. The work consists of photographic copies of paintings in the Rothschild Collection, mounted on thick card (recto and verso), with letterpress descriptions of each painting. The catalogue of paintings is preceded by six unnumbered views (here lettered a-f), showing interiors of the principal rooms in Seamore Place, London.
