Quarter bound album, red buckram board, with coat of arms in gilt on front and back covers (British Museum binding), measuring 365 x 320 mm, and containing 14 albumen print views mounted on card within tinted borders. The prints have letterpress caption labels pasted onto the back of the mounts (apart from print 2, captioned in pencil) and show topographical views in the Saarbrücken district, as well as a number of memorials erected to German casualties in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870-71.
