Folio, half leather binding with brown buckram boards, measuring 370 x 284 mm, containing 21 carbon print portraits, mounted on stout card, with printed caption and photographer credit beneath each image. The photographs in this volume were issued monthly between January and July 1894, each part costing two shilling and sixpence and containing three portraits, with a biographical memoir.
